Breast Cancer Information
Question: Information on breast cancer / How much does it cost? hi all,
sorry if people have kind of already touched this. but I just figured out that my aunt had breast cancer and i was wondering if there was anything I could do. or anyone who's dealt with this have any information?
she is currently living in Hong Kong (i'm in n. america), but I was wondering if anyone knew how much the treatment would cost.
thanks..
Answer: No matter which country the cost will vary depending on the course of treatment. And there are so many different treatments, Chemo, surgery, radiation etc. Unless you know the exact treatment she will get, including chemo drugs and their dosage, then there is no way to really predict the cost.
Question: breast cancer treatment information needed for this question? At a prominent state hospital, a 45-year-old woman is receiving a ‘combined modality’ treatment for the initial stage of breast cancer. State the two aspects included in this treatment. State the methods by which a radiation oncologist can administer these therapies. Additionally, state four major differences between the two modes of treatment.
Answer: By wearing a breast cancer jewelry can give a support to the struggling person. Its would little bit help. More infos at,

Question: breast cancer information? a relative of mine was recently diagnosed with breast cancer (stage one.) what is the difference between stage one/stage two/stage zero? what are the treatments? any experiences/information will be much appreciated! thanks!
Answer: The stage describes the size of the tumour and the extent of its spread;
Stage 0 - in situ (confined to breast ducts; not spreading outside breast).
Stage I - tumour less than 2cm. No spread.
Stage 2 - tumour 2-5cm with or without lymph node involvement. No spread.
Stage 3- tumour more than 5cm, or any size but fixed either to chest wall, muscle or skin, or has spread to lymph nodes above collarbone.
Stage 4 - tumour any size. Cancer has spread to other parts of the body.
The cancer will also be graded:
n general, a lower grade indicates a slower-growing cancer while a higher grade indicates a faster-growing cancer.
Grade I - cancer cells resemble normal cells and are not growing rapidly
Grade 2 - cancer cells have features between grades I and III
Grade 3- cancer cells look more abnormal and may grow or spread more aggressively
Treatment varies according to the grade and stage, and the number of lymph nodes involved. For example, if the cancer is grade one, stage 1 treatment may be just surgery, and possibly hormone treatment if the cancer is oestrogen positive. My cancer was grade 3 stage 3 and I had surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and hormone therapy.
(4 years after diagnosis I am fit and well with no sign of cancer at my last check up.)
You and your relative may find these websites very useful. As well as being a mine of information, they both have forums where your relative (and you) can talk to other people in the same situation. I don't really know how I would have coped without internet forums in the early days, it's much better than going through it alone.

Answer: You can find the related answers in http://aboutcancer-info.blogspot.com
Question: can anybody give me information about breast cancer? is wearing bra over 10 hours per day makes the infection of breast cancer more common??
need information...
Answer: No dear. Wearing a bra will not cause, exascerbate or cure breast cancer. It has nothing to do with cancer being there or not.
One quick thing, too... cancer is not an infection. Cancer is a disease associated with the reproduction and synthesis of cells. Cancerous cells do not reproduce, divide, etc.in a normal fashion.
You sound very very young to me, so I'm wondering why you're worrying about breast cancer specifically. If you have a followup question, please ask away.
