Question: What preventive measure can be outlined for Primary Prevention of Cancer of THE UTERINE CERVIX?

Answer: The pap smear is ascreening tool, but it does NOT prevent cervical cancer. 1) HPV vaccination 2) avoid all sexual contact (yeah, that's realistic) 3) get yearly pap smears, and have abnormalities removed. (This preventative measure can actually have lots of complcations.)
