Cervix Cancer Stages
Question: OKay I was dianosed with pre-cancer of the cervix . How amany stages are there before it becomes cancer? I was prgerant when they discovered it. They did a total of three coposyes and two biopsyes well when I was seven moths they found only two spots then when I divleied they found fours spots and that was four months ago shouls I be worried?
Answer: Hi Kash,
Don't worry, cervical pre-cancerous tissues often go back to normal.
So do cancer cells. We get cancer all the time. And our body says, "Not so fast!" and gets rid of it.
If it doesn't go away, you can do what I did or something similar to it...because cancer cells are weak cells...sort of like weak, would-be boyfriends LOL!
I had Stage 4 cancer. It went away in two weeks. That was nine years ago.
Here's my cure. I ate freshly grated garlic and freshly grated garlic on bread smothered in butter. Add to that a tablespoon of emulisified cod liver oil in either mint or orange flavor. (Twin Labs).
Isn't that awesome! My cancer, with its dozen or more sites all over my body, actually vanished in about 4-5 days, but some came back when I stopped (I had visible lesions on my skin.) So I did it again for another four days. Whoosh! They went away again. Cancer cells are that weak!
I kept taking the cod liver oil for another six months. No lesion has returned since.
So you go ahead and have a beautiful baby! Neither you nor your baby need to fear cancer ever again. Get cancer? Sure, we do it all the time. But fear it? Heck no.
Good luck and be well.

Question: Is there a cure for cervix cancer 4th stage in Ayurveda?
Answer: There must b c bcos in older times ayurveda was only science of medicine ...u should consult a genuine ayurvedic doctor maybe...I have also heard that asanas and pranayams done regularly can help control symptoms of diseases like cancer and can provide some relief from sufferring...I strongly feel that Baba RamDev's Patanjali Yogpeeth in Haridwaar is doing very active work in trying to control many dreadful diseases through yog and ayurveda..so I think you should contact them -- as numerous ppl in past have also benefitted from thier counsel which is yog and ayurveda based. If possible contact them directly or maybe through some channel helpline where the yog guru gives counsel to people..also I think I should mention that gau motra or cow urine and its products I have heard have helped cancer patients a lot..how much its true I cant say but our traditional Ayurveda considers cow products as having high medicinal value (which is quiet true also) ; also ancient texts talk about such treatments too..so u must find out about such a treatment from Patanjali yogpeeth or another such place which gives gaumotra based treatments ..though such institutions must b rare but u must take direct counsel and treatment from them and not just listen and start doing urselves...when people suffer from diseases they are so desperate and try a million things for relief so there is no harm in trying ayurved, yog and gau motra too as long as u r following expert counsel and having pure unadulterated medicines...I think u should because many a times our modern medical facilities with all thier complications cant help as much as simple traditional ayurveda and yog does..just c for example Swami Ramdeva has already proved this before millions despite so much skepticism and I think your mother should learn some simple yoga routine too as much as her health permits and as per expert advice
my best wishes to ur mom for a speedy recovery and I hope ur working hard already to meet the expenses of her treatment...Also ur mom nd ur family I hope r doing a lot of praying which is the only real medicine.May Shri Ram help ur mom to recover very fast
Question: How many months or years does it take for cervix cancer to develope from 1st stage to 2nd and 3rd stage?
Answer: Not entirely sure... but I'm pretty sure that it takes quite a while.
I have HPV too, and the doc says that as long as I get a pap smear every year, I'm good.
Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable, SLOWEST growing, and easiest to get rid of cancers out there.
Question: Which alternative medicinal products would you advise for the early stages of cervical cancer.? What would you advise.I have this virus which in years to come could cause cancer of the cervix.I smoke. Is there anything I could use to boost my immune system because it could retract. What alternative products could specifically help in doing this. What do you advise.
Answer: I wouldn’t recommend any. If you have an early stage cervical cancer with an 80% 5-year survival rate why risk it going to a stage 2b (still early stage) with a 50% 5-year survival rate?
If you don’t have cancer at all and are only referring to HPV take whatever you want 90% of the adult population has HPV.
Question: What is the difference between stage 3 and 4 cancer? my good friend has cancer of the cervix, she is stage three, she is supposed to have a total hysterectomy coming up real soon but has had chemo and radiation for weeks after a failed chemo and radiation months ago she is a upset and having a hard time scheduling it, probably because she fears the worst. what are her odds? I don't like to sound so brash but I feel like I need to. Thank you for any help.
Answer: Stage 3 has a 5 year survival rate of 30%. At stage 4 the cancer has spread beyond the pelvis and has a 5 year survival rate of 5%.
Question: Need to have Leep because of biopsy results on my cervix. Is this cancer? I had abnormal pap last year, my dr followed up with colposcopy but didn't see any abnormal cells & didn't do biopsy. I had another abnormal pap this year and dr did find abnormal cells during colposcopy on cervix and trailing up (inside cervix I guess, those were his words). He told me he thought i was a 1, results came in today and nurse called me said it is stage 2 or level 2 (not sure which word she used) and I need to have leep done so it doesn't turn in to stage 3 or level 3. What does this mean? Do I have cancer or are these still considered precancerous cells? what does the level/stage mean? Thanks for your help.
Answer: I am going through the exact same thing right now. Level two is still a "precancerous" stage. They are going to remove the cells using the LEEP procedure before they turn cancerous. Level one i believes just warns them that there are unusual changes within the cells in that area, Level two is when they start changing into a precancerous condition. Level three is cancerous. I will be undergoing the leep procedure next month. From what i hear it is not going to be pleasant but just be thankful that they found the problem and are taking care of it before it became cancer,
good luck!
Question: can you survive stage 4 cancer? can you survive stage 4 cancer and how long have you got approximately.
for cervix cancer.
Answer: There are people who have survived stage 4 of every type of cancer. However, you have to realize that this is the exception, not the rule. Some people can live for many many years with treatment. If it were me, I'd keep fighting, if only to stay alive longer to have the chance of a better treatment coming out to help me. I would also seriously look at being part of a clinical trial for a new treatment. But this would depend on the type of cancer, and the prognosis.
I would not do anything without a second opinion on the diagnosis/prognosis.
Question: A humble request to all my contacts, friends and YA users,,my mom has been diagnosed with cervix cancer 4th stage and she is in a serious condition in ICU...Please kindly pray to God to save her and make her better...Please...Mother is the dearest one in the universe and i can"t believe it happend to my mother..
Answer: I can very well understand your pain :-(( because same thing happened to me too my mother had gastric cancer :-((
Dont worry friend........God is with us...
I'll pray to God and to my mother who is in heaven...
I know how much a mother is important....
Your mother will get well soon...
All my prayers are with her
Question: what is adenocarcinoma in cervix? I'm only 30 should i be worried? I'm in stage before cancer hits.?
Answer: Hi,Wow I think I would be worried about that, can't they do a hysterectomy or a partial,to remove the effected area,I would be banging on the Dr's door to find out,and soon.God bless you.Good luck.
Question: cancer question? Ok a friend of the family who is 26 has just had a biopsy for cervix cancer - don't know what the proper term for that is and the person doing it said "i'm pretty sure you're in the first stages of cancer but i'm doing this to confirm" ..
I just wanted to know a few things, like can it kill you? How to get rid of it, what treatments they use? Do you have to get a hysterectomy? All info like that would be good.
Thanks
I asked on here specifically for people who have been through it or know someone who has, or has info about it.
Answer: check out this research group ....http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/
Question: My friend has stage one cervical cancer? The doctors are waiting till Feb. to remove a portion of her cervix. They say it's in case her body is able to fight it off first, but it's made it to stage one cancer so what are the chances it's going to go away on it's own? And might it progress by then? She had pre cancer cells for yrs. before this happened.
Answer: She most likely had HPV virus the virus that causes genital warts ( but no warts ever have to be present ) and that is why she had abnormal pap smears for years... Her body had a chance to fight it off but it did not so she now needs to follow up with treatment.
If you are a virgin be sure to get yourself the Guardisil vaccine to help keep this from happening to you
Question: Colposcopy showed a very large Polyp covering almost the entire opening of my cervix. Are the bad cells Cancer? The Polyp covers almost the entire opening of my Cervix, because of this, the Colposcopy was not adequate. The Dr. needed to be able to see everything and the Polyp would not move. She was never able to see around it or behind it. So she said that there wasn't any point in her doing a Biopsy today because the Polyp has to be removed and either way the treatment is going to be the same. She did however say that from what she could see, all of the bad cells are on the Polyp so removing it could take of it. But they have to get that Polyp out to make sure it haven't spread anywhere....The problem is, I read this: Symptoms usually do not show up until the cancer becomes invasive and grows into nearby tissue. I've had symptoms since August... But the worst part in that is the word invasive. (I read this: Eliminating the cancer while it is noninvasive—still confined to the surface of the cervix—makes a complete cure almost a certainty. However, if the cancer is allowed to continue and become invasive—attacking deeper layers of tissue—the odds of stopping it decline rapidly.) According to pictures I find like here: http://www. healthsquare. com/fgwh/wh1ch38. htm It seems like I could be at an invasive stage or getting close. HOWEVER... If ALL of it IS on the Polyp, then cutting it off could get rid of everything. The problem is, the Dr. doesn't know for sure if its spread or not because the Polyp is so big she can't see past it... So I'm still stuck waiting and it REALLY SUCKS. Does it sound like I do have Cancer and they are just saying, "bad cells" ?
Answer: They really can't call it cancer until a test shows it. I had bad cells and they had to burn them off and send off the samples. It doesn't sound like ur doc is too worried about. I would hope that she would take it off there and then if she thought it was cancerous. Please keep me posted
Question: Caught cancer at 17, how can I cope? I'm 20 now, but when I was 17 I caught the Human Papilloma Virus. Since then I've been battling Pre-cancerous cells on my cervix trying to prevent cancer. I'm pretty sure when i got my LEEP done 2 years ago it was in it's early cancer stage cause it was CIN 2-3. How can I cope with knowing I have a chance of getting cancer, and that I might have to have a Hysterectomy at an early age? I'm so sad and depressed that I dont even want to get out of bed in the morning =/ and so paranoid that it has me on the computer asking questions at 9 in the morning.
No offense taken KSH! I need advice like that to get me off my feet. Thanks!
I mean on my feet lol
Answer: First, you should know at MOST women have HPV, and it is very rare for this to be a continuing problem. One LEEP is curative 80%-95% of the time. Some women require a second LEEP, but chances are that this will NEVER come back and be a problem for you again. So stop worrying.
Wanna hear the BEST new EVER: there are a couple of clinical trials underway that are testing a theraputic vaccine for HPV. They give you injections that boost your immune system to specifically target HPV. Once the HPV is gone, the abnormalities just resolve themselves! No surgery required. I hear they are having great success. SO forget the idea of having a hysterectomy at an early age. You are fine!!!!
Question: Dysplasia of cervix - Imm answer reqd? Dysplasia of cervix - URGENT?
Three days back , my wife was diagnosed with mild dysplasia. Her doctor has told to come again for another testing called HPV Testing
I have the following questions to ask in this regard to reduce our anxiety
1. If her HPV Test negative , what will be the course of treatment & if there will be chances of recurrence of dysplasia after that
If we don't go for treatment of mild dysplasia , can this mild stage proceed to severe & finally to cervix cancer
2. If her HPV Test comes positive , what will be the course of treatment
What are the chances of recurrence of dysplasia / , cancer since I understand that HPV Virus can't be killed in the body forever
3. Under her HPV Positive , do I also need to undergo HPV Test .What affects it can be on me , if I am tested positive
4. What precautions we have to take in our sexual life if one / both of us tested positive for HPV
Pl.provide the answers only if you are aware of the subject clearly
Answer: Cervical dysplasia is grouped into three categories:
•CIN I -- mild dysplasia (only the lower one-third of cells in the upper layer of the cervix are abnormal)
•CIN II -- moderate to marked dysplasia (up to two-thirds of the layer contains abnormal cells)
•CIN III -- severe dysplasia to carcinoma-in-situ (precancerous cells are in the entire top layer of the cervix)

Answer: Hey there, since I have no personal experience with this, I'm looking some stuff up for you. These questions are much better suited for her doctor who could easily answer them for you which would better correlate with your personal situation rather than standard statisitics but here's what I've found:
Description of Links in my Sources:
Link 1 in Sources- Explains the significance of mild-severe cervical dysplasia. It states that mild dysplasia can be caused by infections and not just cervical cancer.
Link 2 in Sources- Explains what HPV/Gential Warts is
Link 3 in Sources- Explains the risk of HPV for Men/HPV Testing for Men

Question: How bad is it if my mom has cervical cancer? Hi, from the start, please forgive my bluntness and if I come off as rude. Ok, my mom was diagnosed with cervical cancer stage 2a. She had two tumors, both in the cervix, one was 10 cm and the other was a little smaller than the first one. what happened was the cancer grew into her uterus rather than her ovaries, and her cervix was enlarged 3x its size. The doctors removed both her cervix and uterus. Her ovaries were left due to no infection so far. When her uterus was taken out it weighed 381 grams. Ok, this is where my question comes in. How bad is the damage and what is the probability of death. Please dont b.s. nor beat around the bush. I want to be told straight out how it is rather than sugar coat it. Cancer is not a small disease that can be cured in 3 days i know that. So please im not asking for my moms exact diagnosis im looking for an "in most cases" answer cuz i know every case is different. i just want to know for ex. shell be ok with enough chemo, she has anywhere from 6 months to 5 yrs to live, etc. Thank you in advance for the help.
thank you for the quick responses :) that made me extremely happy to know my mom has a high cure rate.....i only assumed the worst cuz i dont know much about cancer i just know its bad if anyone has it......well the incision was pretty big she had 38 stitches and she has an appt on 9/10 to get the follow up.....the thing that worried me was she also had a small tumor about the size of a dime on her hand that was malignant as well and then they found one in her cervix......my mom is anemic and she has to take baby aspirin everyday.....shes had 4 blood transfusions in the last month before her surgery......shell still be ok right?
ty for all that responded to me......some were too good to be true and well one was just reality.....i truely thank you for all your assistance
Answer: I am very sorry about your mom and I don’t mean to rain on your parade, but I don’t know where these people are coming up with their answers, especially after you stated you wanted it straight. Stage 2A cervical cancer has a 5-year survival rate of 50%. How well your mother does will depend on how well she responds to treatment. I assume the cancer on her hand is a second primary which would be staged separately.
