Heart Cancer Types
Question: Why is oral hygiene linked to more serious diseases such as heart and types of cancer?
Answer: Bacteria that live in the mouth can release toxins that are reputed to move, via nerve connections or blood vessels, I can't remember which, to other parts of the body. The heart and brain are targets that I have heard ot.
If mouth hygiene is bad, then there will be more, and worse, bacteria thus more and worse toxins.
Hope this helps.
Question: How long would u live if cancer and coronary heart diseases were curable? say they will create treatments for most cancer types and coronary heart issues causing heart arrests, etc.
how long could one live and what could cause death then?
Answer: Uh, those diseases are totally preventable and reversible, so I guess they are curable. :) You won't get that from the medical community unless you go to the Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine (pcrm.org I think). That said, assuming no other health issues, you'd only die when your bodily enzymes can no longer function and/or run out. Then you die of old age. It depends on how well you've behaved for your whole life. How well did you take care of yourself and how well did you eat? How many toxins/poisons from drugs did you subject yourself to? How much oxidative damage have you caused your body from how you ate? It has a huge impact on your health. You won't get that from the medical community either...
I'd agree with the poster below on western diet and how third world countries do. Except that if they adopt a western diet, they start getting western diseases. That's why I say these diseases are curable. They don't exist in non-western countries. If those countries, however, had enough to eat and ate a *good* diet of largely raw fruits and vegetables, they'd do well. Meat is a problem, it's a luxury food that is clearly not essential and only causes shorter life spans, especially when eaten in quantity. You do need a little fat and cholesterol in your diet to maintain optimum health, but not anything near what is done in the U.S. Protein is way over-rated, it's in a much more usable form in plants and vegetables.
Question: I know there are all types of cancer. How come you never hear of cancer of the heart?
Answer: There are over 200 different type of cancer. You don't hear about those other types of cancer either . . but they exist. Heart cancer definitely occurs, but it is rare in the population. Unfortunately I know a young man right now who has a malignant primary tumor in his heart. It is a dsrct sarcoma and there is nothing that the doctors can do for him. He just got married. He lives as normally as possible but frequently his heart rate will increase so much that they rush him to the hospital.
Malignant tumors of the heart include rhabdomyosarcoma, angiosarcoma, myxosarcoma, fibrosarcoma, leiomyosarcoma, reticulum cell sarcoma, desmoplastic sarcoma, and liposarcoma. Other types of cancer associated with the heart are called Angiosarcoma which is called Heart cancer or Cardiac cancer.
Incidentally it is not true that cancer does not affect the muscles in the body . . it does . . there are over 60 subtypes of sarcoma which is cancer of the bone, muscles, joints, ligaments, tendons, fat, and soft tissue found within the body. Cardiac cancer is one of them.

Question: Why has cancer replaced heart disease as the leading cause of death? How can The Powers That Be compare the two? A broad category shouldn't be compared with a single entity. There are numerous types of cancer, but 'heart disease' is specific. Isn't that like saying "fruit has replaced corn as children's favorite food"?
Again, I say "A broad category shouldn't be compared with a single entity"... Please answer the whole question, not just the initial one.
Thank you.
Answer: Why do you believe heart disease is so specific? There are many different diseases grouped under the heart disease umbrella. Murmurs, arrhythmia's and other irregular beating patterns are diseases, although usually repaired by pacemaker. Angina, cramps, and heart attack are also included. Don't forget swellings, blockages, valve failures, and aneurysm.
I think you are confused by organ specific (heart), and genetic mutation, which can affect any organ.
Dead is still dead.
The statistic is important in that as Americans we are more 'heart healthy' today and more knowledgeable. Remember 40 short years ago, both were exponentially more often fatal than today. Be awed that 'the Powers that Be' are trying.
Question: I had a dream about a man telling me you are gonna get heart cancer and die a painful death? What does it mean This dream was abot 3 weeks ago. I dont understant it. Before this dream i did not know that such a cancer ever existed. After that dream i googled cancer and found results. found out that it is a rear type of cancer. It causes tumors in the heart.
What does this dream mean and what can I don about it?
Answer: theirs 2 ways of looking at this.
1. taking it literally, mabey a higher power is warning you about your health, if that is the case than you should get routine check ups.
I am going to use these key words:
Cancer
Death
Heart
Pain
Stranger
2. Or it may be a symbolic representation. so i will give it my best shot. to say that you will have cancer will mean that you have areas in your life that are affecting you negatively,or something or someone is bothering you, for example someone is hurting your feelings. to dream of the heart means that you have to get those issues resolved and it shows you how you are dealing with the problem(facing it or running away). pain being mentioned in your dream could mean that you are being to hard on your self, but it can also be a warning about upcoming health problems. you dreamed of a stranger(the stranger is you, your repressed or hidden self) which means you have to listen to your true self because you have the right answers within you. when you do this you will become more enlightened or more spiritual which is what death represents.
the website i went on is below.
you know what is going on in your life right now so just try to apply it the best way that it makes sense.
I hope i was able to help you.
Question: information on heart or any other type of cancer? I'm currently planning out a story to write and I need informtion about either heart or other types of cancer. You see, the seventeen year old girl in the story, who is the main character, is planned to be dying from cancer and is supposed to have a year left to live. The problem is, I haven't a clue WHICH cancer to use. I wanted the cancer to not show any physical signs of it being there at all until the last months or so. I had wanted it to be from heart cancer, but I'm not sure since the details of it are hard to understand. (I'm 14 by the way) Maybe another cancer would work but I need help. Can someone feed me all the information on a cancer that a person my age can understand? It would really be apprieciated. <:]
Answer: maybe pancreas cancer could work since its very hard to diagnose
pick as best answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Question: My 48yr old friend has cancer, bad heart, and type 2 diabetes, how can she get help? My friend is 48 years old. She had a partial masectomy (both sides) several years ago, but they didn't remove them completely. About 4 years ago she had to have a quadruple bypass and now has a pacemaker to go with that. She was on the heart transplant list until about 6 months ago when the cancer came back. It is now in her lymph glands and may have recently come up on her spinal cord (the results are pending). The doctors couldn't do radical surgery because of the weak heart, or radiation because of the pacemaker, so the only thing they could do is chemo. Did I mention that along with this she also has type 2 diabetes? She's losing her house and has moved in with her mother, who only makes enough Soc Sec, to barely buy food. My friend is losing her house, and may lose her only source of transportation if she can't get disability. I've seen all these promotions for diabetes, wmn's breast cancer and wmn's heart health. How does a person get these people to help someone? help
Answer: The fastest way for your friend to get help is probably going to be locally. It would be a great help for a friend like you to help her make the dozens of phone calls that need to be made. In most cases she is going to have to appear in person to fill out all the form and provide evidence of need.
Every state is different, but I would advise to apply for Emergency Medicaid. In some states this can take as little as 2 weeks, and in others it can take months. http://www.benefitscheckup.org can help to get her started to find out what government programs are in her area.
I would not waste a lot of time contracting the American Heart Association or other charity of this kind as you will find out that they do no benefit anyone directly. The funds they collect normally sponsor education programs, grants, and perpetuating their own existence. (no offense to any other answers) Call them and if they can even refer you to someone else it would be a success.
Many churches will help people who are not even members, but it can take a lot of calling around. In my experience the Church of Latter Day Saints (LDS) will help the most, even if neither you or she is a member.(I am not a member either) Catholic Family Services is another charity that has helped some people in some states. There is less charity available in states with high transient levels. The Southern states can be void of almost any charity in my experience. Again no offense meant to anyone, but we are talking about human life here. It might be necessary for her to relocate to another state if this is at all possible.
States who have consistently rated best in social services are Alaska, Montana, Maine, Pennsylvania, Hawaii, and Maryland.
She should also apply for any disability benefits that she might have worked for as well as the federal disability programs that are based on need. Some of these government are based on income and assets though, "needs based programs". Federal programs can provide long term assistance to those in need, but they can take the longest to receive, as little as 6 months and as long as 5 years.
There is a Yahoo Group called ssadisability that might be able to help more with the federal programs.
I wish you the best.
Question: Has anybody heard of heart cancer? There is every other type of organ cancer, why not the heart?
Answer: Unfortunately, I have heard of heart cancer and know one young man who recently lost his life from primary desmoplastic small round cell tumor of the heart (sarcoma). There were few treatment options available for him. He was 23 years old.
ASCO: Sarcoma - Alveolar Soft Part and Cardiac (cancer)
http://www.cancer.net/patient/Cancer+Types/Sarcoma+-+Alveolar+Soft+Part+and+Cardiac
As others have stated this type of cancer is rare . . and because it is rare the prognosis is not good.
One of the reasons cancer is deadly is because there are so many different types . . and many of them are rare . . those with rare cancers frequently die because there are fewer treatment options available for them . . the majority of cancer research concentrates on the common cancers such as breast, lung, and colon. So heart cancer is rare . . and when it does occur the patient often dies . . and people just end up never hearing about it. If you don't hear about it you tend to think it doesn't exist. Rare cancers kill, not because treatment can't be found . . but because talent, time and money for cancer research is funneled elsewhere.
Question: What types of cancer do smoking cause? i know it casuses lung cancer,a nd heart disease and what else? 9doign research paper)
Answer: well it can cause emphazema how ever you spell it,it can cause mouth, and throat cancer
Cigarette smoking accounts for at least 30% of all cancer deaths. It is a major cause of cancers of the lung, larynx (voice box), oral cavity, pharynx (throat), esophagus (swallowing tube connected to the stomach), and bladder, and it contributes to the development of cancers of the pancreas, cervix, kidney, stomach, and also some leukemias.
Smoking is responsible for about 87% of lung cancer deaths. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in both men and women, and is one of the most difficult cancers to treat. Lung cancer is a disease that can in many cases be prevented. Groups that promote non-smoking as part of their religion, such as Mormons and Seventh-day Adventists, have much lower rates of lung cancer and other smoking-related cancers.
Other Health Problems
Only about half of the deaths related to smoking are from cancer. Smoking is also a major cause of heart disease, aneurysms, bronchitis, emphysema, and stroke, and it makes pneumonia and asthma worse.
Using tobacco can also damage a woman's reproductive health. Tobacco use is linked with reduced fertility and a higher risk of miscarriage, early delivery (premature birth), stillbirth, infant death, and is a cause of low birth-weight in infants. It has also been linked to sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
Smoking has also been linked to other health problems, including gum disease, cataracts, bone thinning, hip fractures, and peptic ulcers. It is also linked to macular degeneration, an eye disease that can cause blindness.
Furthermore, the smoke from cigarettes (called secondhand smoke or environmental tobacco smoke) has a harmful health effect on those exposed to it. (See the American Cancer Society documents, Secondhand Smoke and Women and Smoking.)
Effects on Quantity and Quality of Life
hope this helped hun

How does a person get these people to help someone? help
Answer: I am diabetic, bad heart and had prostate cancer. The rest thank God I did not have. The best thing is for your friend to get a good oncologist and then give her your prayers, and stand by her in these times of trial. She needs the support of family and friends right now.
Question: What type of vitamins and minerals should be consumed to prevent cancer and heart disease? And why?
Answer: Well, the best vitamin to take for your heart is the Omega 3-6-9 complex. They are excellent generally for your health but especially the heart. Also magnesium is good for your circulation in general.
As far as cancer goes, take folic acid and vitamin C.
Try also to eat plenty of fresh fruit and veg (5 portions a day) as an anti-cancer preventative.
Also, I recommend Garlic (capsules!!) - they are very good for keeping the heart healthy.
Question: What Kinds Of Cancer Can You Get From Doing Drugs? I Was Wondering What Different Types Of Cancer You Could Get From Doing Drugs. ( Heroin, Cocaine, Marijuana, Methamphetamine, LSD, Ecstasy, Opium, PCP, etc... ) I Know You Can Get Lung Cancer And Heart Cancer Already.
Answer: smoke is smoke u cant point the finger at a type some can develop by doing drugs that u inhaled , but u do need worry about getting hiv or hep from doing other types of drugs
Question: is there Any type of cancer that would allow you to be a heart donor? I'm doing research on the subject.
10 points to best answer.
Thank you
Answer: Not that I know of. So I had to make a switch, instead of being an organ donor.. I am now donating my body to a local lab to future research on cancer.
Question: is heart disease a type of cancer? thanks:))
Answer: No!!!!!!!!!
Question: Do you know of anyone with 0 Negative blood who has or had cancer? In researching my relatives (deceased and living) health history, I've noticed that those with 0 negative blood did not have cancer ( but they have or had heart disease). Those with 0 positive blood were found to have or had some type of cancer (but no heart disease).
Answer: rlang - Yes, I have known of many O-negative patients with cancer. No one blood type offers any protection against any type of cancer. Type O-negative is the best and most useful for transfusion into a patient and is called the universal donor. If you are the patient, then rarer AB-positive is considered the universal recipient and could receive blood of any of the other types.
Question: are there different techniques for smoking so that you can choose the type of cancer you get? i hear if you breath up you get heart cancer..
Answer: Am I understanding this correctly, you want cancer and you want to choose the cancer that you get?? Any smoking in anyway can cause cancer. Have one round of chemo and see how you feel then. I have several patients that would probably be glad to switch situations with you.
