Oral Cancer Center

Question: Oral Cancer? please read all? Sorry its so long but please read it all i'm 17 years old and dont drink or use any tobbacco. last week i noticed this pinhead sized bump on the roof of my mouth. idk how long its been there for it is pretty hard from what i can tell and it is painless. it is just left of the center of my mouth on the hard palate. I was looking at this clay molding of my mouth that the dentist who did my braces did before i got braces and i can see the same bump in it in the same spot. it looks a little bigger now and it might be a little bit bigger because i've been touching it with my tounge. that was about 4 or 5 years ago(that model) but idk any ideas on what it is? PS i brush my teeth twice a day and have only had 2 cavities. my next dentist appointment is in 4 months. is that soon enough to get it checked out? its just like a random bump on the normally smooth part of the mouth if it doesnt go away in 2 weeks i'm getting a doctors appointment. (do you think thats soon enough?)

Answer: Get it checked out to relieve your fears, but if you freak out about every strange bump that appears on your body in your lifetime, you better have a good shrink. It doesn't sound like anything you should worry too much about.
