Question: lymphoid, stomach, && esophagus cancer.? my step-dad has all three of those cancers throughout his body. && with the stomach i think it's pancreatic or something like that.. i'm not well informed when I go visit him at the hospital or anything.
he's in stage 4 of 4 with all of them.
and his hope? honestly, it's slowly getting worse and worse.
it's horribly sad to see.
honestly, how long do you think he has to live based off of statistics or personal knowledge.?
Answer: i can completely understand what you are going thru. my fiance grandma has cancer too. There no real answer to how long the person will live especially at stage 4 of 4. I think he would probably have a month to live or maybe less or more. These type of illness are hard to predict how long they will live.

Answer: My teenage son has stage IV abdominal sarcoma. The disease was within the abdominal cavity rather than in the stomach tissue. He underwent high dose chemotherapy, surgery, cytoreductive surgery and hyperthermic chemoperfusion, low dose chemo, and will do a stem cell rescue in a few weeks. In between treatment he finished high school, graduated with his class, and has taken college classes. He just got back from a trip across the country . . in other words, other than having cancer and being treated for it he has been living a fairly normal life.
It's not easy, but it can be done.
