Question: Testicular Cancer? Hi My hubby went to the GP this morning as he has a swollen testicle, it has a slight lump at the top of it. The GP said they are going to test him for Testicular cancer, I'm scared for him as the word Cancer can't be a good thing can it?!
what happens if he has it? and what is the prognosis?
Thanks
Answer: It may just be a precaution, if the worse does happen and they catch it early the worse that may happen he could lose a testicle.
Best wishes to you both, fingers crossed for a positive outcome.
Question: Testicular cancer in Stallions? Does anyone know a website I can go to to find out more about testicular cancer in stallions - the symptoms, treatment and prognosis?
Answer: The usual signs are enlargement and/or nobbliness, i.e. smaller and harder lumps felt in, or around the testicle.
Of course, if diagnosed, it is good to sacrifice the testicles, ASAP, by having them removed. That would no longer leave a stallion, but still a horse, if you love him.
The prognosis can be a very good one. Testicular cancer usually shows quite quickly and can be dealt with before it may spread eleswhere.
If you would like to know more about the general treatment of cancer by entirely natural means, and about how I healed my 12 and a half years old dog of malignant breast cancer with Dhaxem 3 years ago (she is now, at nearly 16(!) in lovely shape and enjoying her life), then please visit the Dhaxem website and have a look at the cancer page and the examples of results.
I believe that your horse may have an early stage of a tumor, and that the treatment would be quite easy. Relevant advice could be given over the internet, but it would be nice to see a photo.
Best of luck.
